 On January 22 & 23, 2012, Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, Director of Berytech, was invited to attend a “re-activating” meeting of MENAInc, the Middle East and North Africa Network for Business Incubators (www.menainc.org), hosted by the Bahrain Business Incubation Center (BBIC) in Bahrain.
This was a working group meeting aiming to activate the network by planning coming projects and developing an action plan. The meeting was organized as an initiative from BBIC to start their yearly activities, and included board members and a number of MENAinc members.
Over two days, delegates from KSA, Syria, Palestine, Germany, Morocco, KSA, Palestine, Eygpt, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan & Tunisa, debated current status and challenges of MENAinc, its organizational matters and action plans. The meeting was also a prelude for the preparation of the infoDev TOT in Istanbul.

Following the launch of the Global Social Venture Competition, Daniele Diab, Founder of Myschoolpulse, was selected by ESSEC Business School, for having the best social entrepreneurship project amongst applicants from Lebanon and the region, in 2011, thus, having the opportunity to benefit from a targeted coaching program and technical assistance to develop the project successfully.
