Fostering innovation and technology with ongoing trainings and events, Berytech and the faculty of Engineering of Saint-Joseph University ESIB organized, this time, a workshop on Android application development, held at the Technological pole, Mar Roukoz, from November 10 to 15, gathering a group of motivated professionals and engineers.

Led by Dr. Dany Mezher, this workshop aimed at guiding participants on how to create full-featured Android applications from scratch through a series of instructions, hands-on coding exercises and interactive discussions.

Attendees learned how to use the major tools and APIs in the Android SDK & Eclipse IDE, to develop mobile applications like the pros focusing exclusively on Android environment for 4 days with expert guidance.
Several topics were included in the program such as design considerations and user's environment for mobile, graphical user interface, data storage & content providers as well as accessing hardware.
