On June 7, 2011, Berytech led a conference at Notre Dame University (NDU),Zouk Mosbeh campus, gathering senior business students as well as faculty members and instructors.
The topic focused on the opportunities and challenges of becoming a tech-entrepreneur in Lebanon and the support system that Berytech can provide in terms of counseling, hosting, incubation and access to funding.
The conference, which was led by Mrs. Tania Saba-Mazraani, Director of Berytech Tech & Health, covered as well different partners’programs that Berytech proposes, such as mentorship through UK-based Mowgli or funding for tech startups thanks to the Berytech Fund.

Tania gave an overview of some of Berytech’s upcoming activities, namely the Regional Academy for Young Entrepreneurs (RAYE), which will take place from July 20 to 22, and the Incubation Awards this fall, that will reward the most promising projects with free incubation programs and cash prizes.

A dynamic Q&A session ensued, in which the audience put forth queries around entrepreneurship and the support services Berytech provides. In conclusion, a prize draw took place, allowing participants to win valuable prizes offered by Berytech, including free participation in RAYE.
Since the conference, some of the students have reached out to Berytech to discuss specific projects. |
