Third Berytech – Mowgli Mentorship Experience Takes Place in West Bekaa Version imprimable
Aucune traduction disponible

Image The third Berytech – Mowgli mentorship session took place from May 23 to 26 in the remote resort West Bekaa Country Club, matching 12 mentors to 12 Lebanese entrepreneurs (4 resident Berytech entrepreneurs) in an experience intended to inspire, empower and support them to grow their business.

The first 2 days of the session involves the mentors only, providing them with knowledge and tools to be able to apply successfully the Mowgli mentoring experience to their chosen mentees. Mentors, who are identified and pre-qualified through a selection process, are typically international successful business practitioners with varied industry experience. This is the first session to which Lebanese mentors were selected along with international mentors, providing a very inspiring culture and experience mix.

In the second part of the session, mentors and mentees were paired during an accelerated relationship-building activity, followed by one-to-one sessions. The pairs worked on understanding each other while the mentee went about setting their business proposition as well as personal development plans coupled with measurable goals for the next 12 months with the help of their assigned mentor. After this accelerated session, further interactions will take place by phone calls, emailing and messaging over a period of one year.
“It was an incredible four days! Lebanon was such a delightful experience! I thank everyone for creating such a sourceful and intimate space in which we could create miracles”, commented Frdi D’souza, one of the professional international mentors.
Jonathan Withers, another international mentor also adds: “Thank you for a truly enlightening week. I was totally engaged with Mowgli, my fellow Mentors and the inspirational Entrepreneurs! I am so looking forward to the next 12 months - and hope that we can find a way to share our journey amongst our community. Lebanon is a beautiful country and so are the people. I hope that in some small way we can add to their lives. I am blessed to have been with you all.”
“The Mowgli's experience in West Bekaa Country Club-Lebanon was just fantastic. We had fun, we learned and we helped. It was more than mentorship, it was the beginning for a new trend of life!”, expressed Jade Dagher, one of the Lebanese mentors.
After such as successful and rewarding experience, the group pledged to stay in touch, both on-line and off-line. Nicolas Rouhana, Director of Berytech Technological Pole and one of the Lebanese mentors, created a community space for the group on Berytech blog to upload resources and share thoughts. Also, the group will spread the experience by word-of-mouth and meet regularly to keep the momentum going.
