On May 27, 2011, Berytech participated in the jury panel for the selection of the best project at l’Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) in the framework of the Global Business Opportunities (GBO) training program.

This educational and cultural project gathered participants from the UAE, Columbia and Lebanon, aged 20 to 27, who formed teams of mixed nationalities, while developing their entrepreneurship skills and ability to own a global business.

Five different teams presented projects of different scopes, but all leveraged on the rich cultural background of the members and on the global network created out of this alliance. They were evaluated by a mixed panel of judges, of which Mrs. Tania Saba Mazraani, Director of Berytech Technology Health, who provided feedback and comments to improve the project going forward.

The ventures will go through a second screening in 3 months, where detailed business and financial strategies will be reviewed.

GBO was designed by Al-Ahli Holding Group CSR divisionand successfully implemented in Argentina in 2008, Jordan in 2009 and Brazil in 2010 with participants from different continents.
