Berytech participated in the first edition of the information and communication technology conference and exhibition in Qatar, QITCOM 2011, focusing on innovation and the sharing of new ideas in a panel on “Incubation & Entrepreneurship”.

The event, which garnered high interest from the ICT community in the MENA region, was inaugurated on May 24 by the Qatari Minister for Business and Trade, H E Sheikh Jassem bin Abdul Aziz Al Thani and H E Sheikha Mayassa Bint Hamad Al Thani at the Doha Exhibition Centre.

Industry leaders attended the official opening of the event which is set to become a platform and forum for innovation in the region with more than 85 speakers and over 100 exhibitors and 15,000 visitors expected, and new technologies and start-ups announced.
Mr. Maroun N. Chammas, Chairman of Berytech, spoke at the panel on incubation and entrepreneurship, sharing the success story and the insights that Berytech had gained thanks to a 10-year track record in supporting tech entrepreneurs.

QITCOM 2011 which runs till May 26, is championing the theme of Innovate, Connect and Transform and is featuring not only the latest technologies but also the leading thinkers and innovators in the global ICT industry.
