On May 4 and 6, with the support of Injaz, Berytech hosted a two-day academy on entrepreneurship for senior students from “Collège des Saints-Coeurs”. The training witnessed the participation of 35+ students hailing from different Saints-Coeurs establishments and regions from Batroun to Zahleh and Ashrafieh.
Comprehensive sessions introduced participants to the challenges of setting up a business, creating a marketing strategy, accessing financing and understanding market dynamics. On the last day of the academy, enthusiastic students, who were divided into 8 different groups, pitched their business ideas to a jury composed of seasoned entrepreneurs, Berytech advisors and USJ professors and in the presence of different school directors.

The top three business ideas won valuable prizes and all students received certificates of participation.
Addressing the group of students, Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, Director of Berytech Technology Pole, commended their entrepreneurial spirit and their eagerness: “It doesn’t matter if your numbers didn’t add up, or if your marketing strategy needed to be revised, you’ve got what it takes, you’ve got the passion”.

The academy also witnessed a seamless and productive cooperation between Berytech, Injaz, which provided the tools and methodologies for the session, and the Orientation Department of Saints-Coeurs and has set the stage for future collaboration and projects between the three entities.
