Berytech participated in the kick-off meeting of “Tempus-Averroes” project on January 18 to 20, 2011, held in the University of Montpellier, France. This project aims at improving the employment of young graduates in the field of technology & engineering in the Euro-Mediterranean region, promoting their talents as well as enlarging the scope of opportunities, expertise and exchange between countries.
Conducted with Algeria, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Belgium, Spain and France, this consortium gathered several universities and partners from the private & public sector in order to cooperate and develop a set of initiatives and action plan, which will focus, over the next 3 years, on achieving various objectives such as:
- Build up strategic relations between universities and companies
- Improve human and social sciences for students (communication, project management,
languages ...)
- Develop the spirit of entrepreneurship in universities

In the entrepreneurship area, Berytech exposed its programs and activities, shared its vision & expertise in the field and proposed several pioneer ideas which can be adopted to encourage enterprise creation projects.
The experience gained will be disseminated and shared widely, and partners will collaborate to create new horizons for university graduates, thus, contributing to a better economy in the region.
