The Association of Banks in Lebanon organized the SME Financing Experience Seminar on June 15, 2010 at the Radisson Martinez hotel, where Berytech participated in the lecture entitled “The Different Support Institutions Actions to SMEs and their Financing”.

This seminar addressed managers and senior staff responsible for lending SMEs in banks and financial institutions. This event was designed to give participants the opportunity to share and discuss their opinions about financing SMEs through real life case studies, in presence of experts and representatives from institutions that support SMEs.
Sessions included very interesting topics and treated specific subjects in the finance field such as challenges that SMEs are facing, their Current state in Lebanon and their needs.
This meeting highlighted also the solutions and actions proposed by the banking sector as well as their Analysis, evaluation and their risk assessment methods.
This experience intended to improve the cooperation between SMEs and financial institutions, promoting existing opportunities and support programs.
