The Ruby Tuesday Information Technology division provides the technology tools for the corporation to succeed in the market. The IT division is typically involved in nearly every initiative. In some situations, a new system is needed as in the case when the company needed a custom Inventory Management system, a budgeting system, an internal survey system, etc. In other cases, a modification to an existing system is required to extend a program as in situations when the HR department requires the addition of job roles that are unique to the Ruby Tuesday operation.  In some instances, the IT division’s role may be to integrate a purchased system with the existing Ruby Tuesday systems.
