In the framework of UNOPS mission and support to Arab SMEs, an Arab Delegation visited Berytech Technology & Health on June 17, 2010.
The delegation, consisting of high level Jordanian and Iraqi figures hailing from the economic, political and academic arena, was welcomed to a round table discussion where the 30+ members met Berytech directors as well as representatives from the Ministry of Economy & Trade (MOET).

The visit learning from the experience of Berytech and the impact of incubators on the local economic landscape.
The visit started with an introduction of the Berytech Fund where Sami Beydoun, Managing Partner, explained to the audience the fund mission which is investing in early growth Lebanese technology companies in exchange for equity ownership. This was followed by an intervention by MOET representatives, Nada Sweidan and Nathalie Wehbe, talked about the European-Union-led SME Integrated Program and funding to incubators and Kafalat.

After a short coffee break, the discussion continued with Nicolas Rouhana, Director of Berytech Technological Pole who described different programs and services and concluded with Tania Saba Mazraani, Director of Berytech Technology & Health.
After a substantial Q & A session, the guests toured the premises and met with some of the entrepreneurs who were more than happy to share their entrepreneurial experience within the incubator of Berytech.
