A delegation from Switzerland visited Berytech on May 11, 2010. The delegates included the President of the University of Fribourg (HES-SO), Mr. Marc-André Berclaz with a team of professors, as well as Mr. Claude-Michel Salamin the CEO of the technology company TI-Informatique with some of his colleagues.

The delegation was seeking the opportunity to be introduced to the Technology Pole, its mode of operations, and best practices on the one hand and to meet hosted companies and to learn about the ease of doing business through Lebanon as a development platform for IT, on the other.

Dr. Nicolas Rouhana and Mrs, Tania Saba-Mazraani introduced the mission of Berytech, its programs, activities, functions and vision towards the support of entrepreneurs and SMEs in Lebanon.

A visit to some of Berytech’s tenants followed the meeting, in which Lebanese entrepreneurs presented their company’s activity, sharing also their startup experience as well as doing some demonstrations of their solutions and innovations.
