On Thursday May 13, 2010, Berytech participated as Silver Sponsor in the WIT Gala Dinner that took place in Dbayeh under the patronage of Her Excellency, Mrs. Raya El Hassan, Minister of Finance.

The glittering gala dinner was attended by hundreds of guests drawn from across the business, political, diplomatic, media and technological spectrum. The event featured a word by the Association President, Mrs. Paulette Assaf as well as a short address by Minister El Hassan in which she tackled mainstream public concerns such as the empowerment of women in the public sector, the 2010 government budget and the expansion of the Lebanese broadband capacity.

On this occasion, WIT distributed Recognition Awards to three different women acknowledged for their business and social achievements in the realm of ICT. Laureates included Mrs. Therese Saliba, Director of IDM, Mrs. Lamia Moubayed, Director of Bassel Fuleihan Institute, and Ms. Reine Abbas, a technology entrepreneur.

Guests were treated to a sumptuous menu of fine dining and hospitality at the Azurea Ballroom in Le Royal, Dbayeh.

Berytech, which is a firm supporter and host of the Women in IT association, co-sponsored this fund raising event for the second consecutive time.
