Berytech took part in the 12th Annual Arab International Telecom Development Summit for The Arab States, Arabcom, held in Habtoor Convention Center on May 13-14, 2010.
 

The technological pole held a pavilion featuring several companies hosted in Berytech, offering innovative Telecom
solutions including Development and Services and Applications to the Lebanese and Arab markets.

The event featured parallel conferences tackling topics such as latest Telecom investments, regulations, networks, devices, services and security updates, with particular relevance to the pan-Arab market. The sessions featured top tier speakers and subject matter experts from Telecom companies and operators established in Korea, Singapore, China, Australia, and the Arab region. In the keynotes speeches, they shared their vision for the near future, and discussed up and coming trends and technologies such as Smart Cities, Green ICT and Cloud Computing. Audience included investors, industry leaders, vendors, operators, carriers, consultants, and suppliers who explored and analyzed technology trends related to ICT in order to develop strategies and business models with a vision towards 2020.

Mr. Maroun Chammas, Chairman of Berytech and Executive Director of IDM, participated as a panelist in the first session of the conference “Strategies for Growth –Move from Promise to Reality” where participants discussed their own approaches to business expansion, including operational innovation, mergers, acquisitions, and growth in a competitive environment.
