Following the European Union funding contribution to Berytech Technology and Health, the Head of Delegation of the European Commission in Lebanon, Ambassador Patrick Laurent, visited Berytech Technological Pole on Tuesday April 20, along with the attaché for economic development Mr. Lopez-Menchero and representatives from a specialized unit in the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Qualeb.
The purpose of this visit was to witness the output and the results of the EU initiative to support the Lebanese economy, by encouraging the expansion of entrepreneurship and SME sector.

The delegation tends to strengthen the cooperation between the European and the Lebanese markets by stimulating the businesses expansion on an international scope.
The visit featured a tour in Berytech premises, showing the different office structures for all business levels going from the incubation to the startup to the hosting level, in addition to the infrastructure, services and facilities available for tenants.
The Ambassador met with several entrepreneurs who shared their experience in Berytech and introduced their business activity and he was impressed by the diversity of companies that made use of the incubator in addition to their exceptional enthusiasm.

A forecoming support plan is being prepared leading to a promising future in the Lebanese economy and new horizons for entrepreneurs.
