The Final Meeting related to the project entitled "Promotion of the Digital Arabic Content Industry Through Incubation" was held at the United Nations House in Beirut on December 15, 2009. The Information and Communication Technology Division of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia ESCWA, organized this meeting as part of the activities it implemented for promoting the Digital Arabic Content (DAC) in the ESCWA region since 2003.
Berytech, represented by Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, participated in this meeting, being involved in the implementation of the DAC project.

Therefore, Dr. Rouhana presented the contribution of Berytech in the execution of this project, in addition to the incubation process of the Digital Arabic Content Application selected at the incubator and the project mentoring.

The Final Meeting aimed at reviewing and assessing the progress made towards the promotion of the DAC industry in the region. The meeting provided a platform for sharing experiences and best practices, discussing the main challenges facing the implementation of DAC projects as well as the requirements for improving this sector in the region.

This meeting included ESCWA’s partners who were involved in the implementation of this Project; mainly the ICT incubators from Lebanon , Jordan, Palestine, Syria and Yemen as well as representatives from the incubated DAC projects.
