A delegation of 36 MBA students and Faculty members from Stanford University visited Lebanon to conduct a study in order to explore business opportunities in the field of technology. Following this occasion, Berytech welcomed the visitors in its premises on the 22nd of December, 2009, for the purpose of introducing the Technological Pole and giving them the opportunity to meet Berytech companies and Entrepreneurs.
A power lunch was organized in the context of this visit allowing students and entrepreneurs to network and exchange discussions regarding academic and professional experiences.
A meeting was held at a latter stage, with Mr. Chammas, Chairman and CEO of Berytech, who introduced the incubator in addition to the activities, facilities and programs offered to support entrepreneurs. Topics discussed included also the potential business opportunities in Lebanon, especially in the field of technology, and the key elements which contributes to position Lebanon as a platform for business in the region. Live testimonials from entrepreneurs followed, sharing their startup experience, challenges they faced and presenting their business.

Finally, students were divided into several groups and visited Berytech companies where they had the chance to meet managers, discover their professional activities and ask several questions following their interest.
