Berytech attended the fifth edition of Medinnov conference, held on October 8 at the “Palais du Pharo” in Marseille, in the context of the innovation in the Mediterranean region.
More than 150 participants were present, from public and private institutions, universities, industries, technology parks, business incubators, clusters, venture capital and start up from the Mediterranean countries, sharing their experience on the innovation policy and strategy in their respective territory.
The main objective of this conference was to focus on the innovation in the Mediterranean region, mobilizing broad effective visions, in addition the exchange of successful experiences and upcoming projects, in order to assess all the impacts, and propose any initiative used to develop synergies between innovation actors in the Mediterranean, and encourage interaction between various entities.
The Berytech Fund was introduced in the following panel "The private and public funding for innovation in the Mediterranean" and a presentation of Berytech was developed at the theme "Physical platforms for innovation" exposing its structure, mission, functions and programs. Other topics have been elaborated also: "The project flow in the Mediterranean region", and "The growth strategy in the region."
Various institutions were interested by the structure of Berytech and were looking to establish partnership maintaining an exchange of experience which will help develop the innovation infrastructure and facilitate the emergence of new initiatives in the areas of innovation, finance and networking in the Mediterranean countries.
