The British Council in partnership with “Women in IT’ (WIT) organized the visit of a delegation of UK women at work, in which they were able to meet women entrepreneurs of Berytech.

The visit, which took place on September 1st 2009, comes in the framework of a project entitled Women@Work, aiming at challenging young people's perception about the value of fair access to employment and the full range of roles women can play in professional life with a focus on the IT Sector.

The aim of the project is to encourage young women in Lebanon and the UK to explore career options in order to contribute as equals in the development of the societies.

During the gathering between the delegation members and Lebanese women entrepreneurs in Berytech, participants shared their experiences and the challenges faced in their respective career paths.
