The 18th EBN Congress was organized in Morocco from the 24th to the 27th of June2009, under the theme of Creative Ideas and Tools for Smart Entrepreneurs. Berytech, being a full member of the EBN network, was involved in this congress and represented by Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, who made a presentation during the Innovation Management workshop and took part also in the round-table related to “Fostering Euromed business incubation collaboration”.

The Congress focus was on creative disciplines, innovation & entrepreneurial spirit, smart solutions and management techniques for Entrepreneurs. It ended by proposing a selective set of tools, good practices and new methods for entrepreneurship.
The principal objectives were to create new synergies and strengthen and/or build relations between European, Mediterranean, and North African BICs and SMEs, where there is an ongoing need to strengthen and improve existing partnerships in order to boost innovation incentives.
Around 450 delegates were present from all over the world going for a resolute international cross-cultural approach, with particular emphasis on the Mediterranean and North-African region to boost cross-border innovation activities amongst all stakeholders.
