Initiation to Entrepreneurship
The Summer School for Entrepreneurs is open to individuals who wish to explore entrepreneurship as individuals or teams, and develop their entrepreneurial potential.
The two-week intensive program consists of varied activities and trainings, guided by a dynamic team of instructors and professionals with experience in entrepreneurship, which can develop their professional skills, creative thinking, leadership, and awareness of the latest tips in entrepreneurship.
Purpose
In the Summer School for Entrepreneurs, participants will partake in mentored workshops and research to shape an entrepreneurial opportunity they have identified, and explore the potential for starting up a business, either now or later.
The purpose of the Summer School is to enable participants to:
- Identify the business opportunity in their project
- Develop hands on, an action-driven roadmap and a viable business plan
- Learn from seasoned entrepreneurs on how to build a great startup
- Discover the financing options that can best work for them and develop their own projections
- Present their project in front of an expert jury and get live feedback
- Get the chance to win up to $10,000 to create your startup in the incubator of Berytech
Particulars
- Enlightening lectures and training sessions will help you learn and assess the business opportunity of your project covering marketing, management, finance, business law.
- Interactive workshops will improve your personal and professional skills. You will be able to test your idea, analyze your market and build projections and strategies.
- Instructive activities will let you experiment the team building expertise and discover new tools to improve your entrepreneurial capacity.
- Applied sessions including case studies, discussion and other exercises will give you the opportunity to work on your idea guided by professionals, develop your business model and prepare yourself for the pitch session.
Outcomes
- A customer-driven feasibility study with an overall market assessment
- A viable business plan that can allow entrepreneurs to approach financiers, partners and investors
- The opportunity to be pre-screened for the Incubation Awards
- A network of peer to peer and professional connections
- A certificate of attendance for participants who successfully complete the course requirement and do not miss more than 4 hours.
