Held on May 22 in the framework of the Entrepreneurs Forum, the Project Pitch competition featured an array of entrepreneurs looking to convince a panel of three judges in 5 minutes that their business idea is a winning proposition.
Dozens of highly innovative ideas were presented by participants who received customized feedback and pointers, that can guide the projects and turn them into a successful business.
Daring souls got pitch some innovative and intriguing ideas and listen on what to do, and also what not to do in a real life situation.

A dynamic interaction took place, involving panel members, participants and at times even an enthusiastic audience,
Although the pitches quickly overran their allotted time, the audience cheered for more, and the Project Pitch session ran late into the evening, long after the forum had officially closed for the day.
“Day Dream” ice cream project by entrepreneur Carlos Fenianos, was selected as a winner for having the overall best pitch. Mr. Fenianos was rewarded for his merit with a round trip travel ticket to a European destination. But all participants got to take home simple lessons about practice and adaptation, learning from one’s own mistakes and getting ever-better.

Commenting on the event, Dr. Tarek Kettaneh, professor at AUB and a panel member, declared: "My mission in Lebanon is to assist and promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among young gifted individuals and Berytech is the best institution which performs a remarkable job in this field".
