Berytech launched the first edition of the "Entrepreneurs Forum", founded with Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, at Pavillon Royal Biel,
on May 21, 2009 in the presence of H.E. Mr. Mohammad Safadi, Minister of Economy & Trade, Mr. Patrick Laurent, Head of Delegation of the European Commission, Mr. Adel El Shared, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, and Mr. Maroun N. Chammas, Chairman & CEO of Berytech.
Addressing the entrepreneurs in the audience, during the opening ceremony, H.E Mr. Mohammad Safadi declared: “I hope the Entrepreneurs Forum becomes an important and regular stop during your endeavor to hone skills you need to further your business success”.
Stressing the importance of the event, Mr. Maroun N. Chammas added: “This first Edition of the Entrepreneurs Forum is only a pilot version to an event which we will build on for next year and onward, until it becomes a regional meeting point for all entrepreneurs and small & medium enterprises (SMEs)”.
More than 1500 visitors attended the forum, where exhibitors, advisors, experts, and speakers were gathered for two days. The event focused on one principal mission “Supporting a Nation of Entrepreneurs”, by providing development services to entrepreneurs in their path to success.

Expert speakers animated over 20 seminars, where various aspects of the entrepreneurial experience were tackled in front of packed rooms.
In addition, visitors had the opportunity to meet with Lebanon’s prime advisors, in one-on-one sessions, taking advantage from personal advice and focused guidance in various business fields.
Speed Networking and Project Pitch were among the activities that received wide audience acclaim and featured enthusiastic participation.
Finally, the Entrepreneurs Forum stimulated and increased the awareness of the entrepreneurship concept, opening new opportunities and connections for a future generation of entrepreneurs, who will stimulate economic growth in Lebanon and the region.

The next edition of the Entrepreneurs Forum is set to take place in March 2010.
