Toufic Saghbini, founder of this enterprise explain to us the mission and activity of Entelligence.
What are the services offered by Entelligence to customers?
Entelligence is an IT Consulting and Outsourcing company.
Our main flagship service is IT Outsourcing. We are trying to provide SMB companies with the necessary tools to let them grow and enhance their business. Technology has become a major business tool and without the proper managerial and technical setup, it is quite difficult for any company to be a player in this new economy.
IT outsourcing is by itself a bundle of sub services such as: consulting, infrastructure and application management, business application selection and implementation as well as security management.
In a nutshell, starting from 250 USD a month you can have your own IT department including a highly experienced IT Manager and several high skilled IT Engineers.
How do you think Entelligence is different from its competitors?
IT Outsourcing as presented by Entelligence is still a rare concept in Lebanon. There are too many IT companies who offer a break/fix model. These companies will do their best effort in order to fix any problem you might raise.
Our biggest differentiator is that we consider ourselves a part of our clients team and raise the problems faced by them in order to find the best solution.
In order to achieve the above we have setup the concept of IT steering committee. This is a joint high level committee between Entelligence and the client. This committee is going to discuss managerial concerns, necessary IT investments, quality standards, …
In addition, we have setup a set of tools in order to maximize our efficiency, namely:
- Network operation center:This tool allows us to proactively monitor our client IT setup, therefore minimizing problems and downtimes
- CRM:This tool allows us to log all support calls made by our engineers in order to monitor the problems faced by our clients.
- User policies and guidelines:This set of documents gives the necessary IT guidelines to our clients employees in order for them to benefit from our professional services.
I would like to stress on the fact that 90% of our client base have seen their business grow since we started handling their IT department.
What were the difficulties you faced starting up and how did you overcome them?
I started my entrepreneurial activity beginning 2005, few weeks later, Prime minister Hariri was killed and the political and security situation degraded in the country. This was a main retardant to Entelligence launching phase. I had to wait till end of 2006 in order to form Entelligence S.A.R.L. During that stage, it was also difficult to find good talents since everybody was leaving the country.
Another difficulty faced was financing, up till now Entelligence S.A.R.L is personally funded by me and members of my family. We are currently working on getting additional funding through banks.
Setting up at Berytech helped us to overcome some of the difficulties faced. The services offered at Berytech in addition to the networking capabilities facilitated our starting-up.

What made you take the decision of becoming an entrepreneur?
After working in the UAE as a Chief Technology Officer, I decided to come back to Lebanon. With my MBA in hand and several years of extensive experience in high profile projects, I decided to venture on my own.
In 2005 and 2006, I worked on several consultancy projects.
In late 2006, I sensed that our expertise is needed in the local market, therefore the decision was taken to form Entelligence S.A.R.L.
Where do you see your company three years from now?
Thanks to the effort of each and every member of our team, Entelligence is constantly growing its customer base and enhancing its quality of service.
We are now well positioned to serve a higher number of clients and offer them state of the art technology solutions.
Our vision is to offer our services to the MENA region, however for the next 1-2 years we will be concentrating our efforts on developing the Lebanese market prior to venturing in regional markets.
