On April 17, Berytech hosted a visit by Mr. Adel Al Shared, Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation and Mr. Sultan Lootah, Vice President of the Foundation, Employment and Entrepreneurship Sector. The meeting took place in the presence of Mr. Maroun Chammas, President and CEO of Berytech as well as managers from Berytech and Berytech Fund.

The visit covered the projects Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation is spearheading in partnership with Berytech, one of which is the Entrepreneurs Forum, set to take place in Beirut on May 21, 22, to which Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation will participate and invite representatives of the Arab Incubator Network.

During a tour of the premises of Berytech, Al Shared and Lootah met with some of the entrepreneurs and looked at the services and products they were developing.

Upon the conclusion of the visit, Lootah declared: “This was a great meeting. I am positive it will draw a sustainable partnership between both our entities.” Chammas, on his part, expressed his and the team’s satisfaction with the outcome of this visit: “We are very happy that we could see eye to eye with Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation and be in agreement on the strategy for a better future for entrepreneurs. We look forward to developing the relationship further”.

Messrs. Adel Al Shared and Sultan Lootah are set to participate in the inauguration of the Entrepreneurs Forum which will take place on May 21, 2009 under the auspices of the Minister of Economy and Trade and in the presence of the Head of Delegation of the European Union as well as the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates.
