As their secret recipe says: “a perfect combination of creativity + cross-culture + cost–effectiveness” Wondereight’s studio engenders the cross pollination of creative idea from talented individuals working with Boudy and Walid Nasrallah the founders of this enterprise.
What is the activity of W 8?
We're a small creative agency that does pretty much everything: You name it we have it!
We do Brand creation, logo and corporate identity, brochures, posters, product packaging, stands, copyrighting, signage, decoration, communications, campaigns, events. And also cd-rom presentations, websites, interactive media, screensavers and Flash games, illustrations, character design, storyboards, animatics, 2D, Cel and 3D animation, TV habillage and special effects.
What are the biggest challenges you faced starting up and how did you overcome them?
We started in 1999 in our garage! We were 2 people, my brother and I, and since then our growth was natural and bumps-free, until we moved to Berytech. It is here where we started to grow the team and this was the biggest challenge because finding good creative talents was very hard, in a time where most Lebanese artists where abroad. Our second challenge was finding the “right” people, people that are compatible with us in their ethics and in the way they think! We spend most of our life time at work and want this experience to be as close as home! A cold corporate structure is what we fear most.

What do you enjoy most from your stay in Berytech?
Advice and consultancy from all the people here and from the ones who passed by Berytech is the most important benefit we got from this pole. This helped us a lot on the entrepreneurial level. I can’t say we’re business men yet, far from it, but I least we now have a business plan ;-)
Other than that, it’s the great sea-view we have, the architecture, the amenities, our clients in Berytech and most importantly, our friends!
Where do you see your company in the coming five years?
We have now grown to a team of 10 cross-cultured, multi-disciplined people working in perfect harmony. Our aim is not to go beyond 15 people and to stay as fresh and creative as we can be. Our goal for the next five years is to further develop our international client base…oh! And work less for more money ;-) I mean get fewer clients but bigger ones!
Anything else you would like to add?
Well…in a time where most of the companies are shifting to a “stand-by” mode, thinking of the ripples that this crisis will bring to Lebanon, it makes us wonder if we should stick to our plan and continue the expansion. But we’ve grown organically and steadily for many years now and I think we’re healthy and solid enough to say on course…full throttle ahead!
