Interview with Berytech Entrepreneur Fouad Goraieb PDF Print E-mail

Image Founded by a team of young, dynamic and innovative entrepreneurs, Invigo has developed successful solutions and services to enterprises and mobile operators. This is what Fouad Goraieb, President of Invigo, tells us about Invigo.

Corine Mehanna: What made you take the decision to become entrepreneur?
Fouad Goraieb: Well, I didn’t decide to become an entrepreneur; I always wanted to be one.
Strong partnership with fellow entrepreneurs (Invigo co-founders) and favorable circumstances helped me realize it.

CM: What are the services/solutions that you offer to customers?
FG: Our customers are Mobile Operators, worldwide. We provide them with Value Added Services. They, in turn, commercialize our products to their mobile subscribers and roamers. One example of a Value Added Service is the “Backup/Restore” Application that enables mobile subscribers to backup their mobile information (contacts, SMS, Pictures, etc) on a secured Web Services, over the air. They can restore this information when they buy a new phone.

CM: How are they different from competing solutions?
FG: Invigo’s founders had an extensive experience in the Mobile Communications fields, having worked for Mobile Operators in the region for more than 10 years. Resulting Products and Services give us a competitive edge when compared to competition.


CM:Since your services target international markets, how did you develop contacts with clients?
FG:Since most of us previously worked for Mobile companies, we already had contacts with key people in various international operators. Others contacts were developed from Invigo’s annual participations in key international events (GSM World – Barcelona, GSM Dubai, etc). We also keep getting new contacts through word of mouth thanks to our growing reputation of providing innovative services and excellent technical support.

CM: Is it difficult running your business from Lebanon knowing that all your clients are based outside?
FG: Running this kind of business from Lebanon is not difficult: We need mainly a good work environment, a good Internet connection and of course the best human force! We face some difficulties in recruiting Lebanese telecom engineers and developers, unfortunately most of them preferring to leave the country! Despite this fact, we are very happy and proud to have the have attracted the best engineers, developers and more generally human force!

CM: Why did you choose to set your offices at Berytech?
