Berytech co-sponsors the first WIT Gala Dinner |

 On April 3, 2008, the Women in IT association hosted their fist Gala Dinner at the Gefinor Rotana Hotel in the presence of WIT members, their friends, the ICT community, new potential members, the business community and donors and supporters of which Berytech.
The event came as a celebration of WIT accomplishments to date and was also a fund raiser for the association that is now expanding its activities and needs operational funds for actions that are not typically covered by project funds.
 Berytech was among the corporate sponsors of the event. Its contribution and support, as well as that of the rest of the sponsors, was recognized and thanked by WIT President, Mrs. Salam Yamout during a public address.
Berytech has developed ties with Women in IT since its inception. In April 2005, a lunch honoring the association was held in Berytech, and was the first official public event for WIT. 
More recently, Berytech had participated as well in a WIT event organized in partnership with the Women in Engineering section of the IEEE NDU Student Branch. The workshop entitled "Career Paths in Engineering and Technology" took place on 8 March 2008 at the NDU Campus.
