Following an invitation by the EEIJE founder and president, Gilles Saint-Pierre, Berytech participated as a speaker and jury member during the 9th edition of the summer school.
Taking place at Sherbrooke, Canada from 5 to 18 August 2007, this session gathered over 50 participants from different French-speaking countries across several continents. Conferences, workshops and group work allowed participants to gain understanding on entrepreneurship development.
Nicolas Rouhana, Director of Business Incubation, spoke during a conference on the topic “Understanding different business cultures” which took place on August 13, 2007 highlighting the Lebanese experience and flair in entrepreneurship. He was also jury member during the startup project presentations that took place on August 17, 2007, in which the most meritorious project was awarded first place.
“The experience was very insightful. I am also proud that the team leader on the award-winning project is Lebanese”, said Rouhana.
