BADER Young Entrepreneurs Program

BADER Young Entrepreneurs Program
BADER (in Arabic) means “take the initiative”
The BADER Young Entrepreneurs Program was established late 2005 under the joint initiative of the Finance Minister and 40 young Lebanese business leaders who were willing to dedicate energy, enthusiasm, financial resources, and time to give back to their community. Based in Beirut, Lebanon, BADER works nationwide with leading educational and financial institutions and other partners to catalyze the economic impact of entrepreneurship, to support the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders, and to develop and disseminate proven programs that enhance entrepreneurial skills and abilities.
BADER aims to serve as a convener, bringing together local, regional, and national leaders to share innovative thinking and engage in dialog related to entrepreneurship and education. In order to better achieve its objectives, BADER will look to other similar foundations around the world for entrepreneurship expertise and guidance.
BADER realizes its vision and mission through four priorities: Inspiring and boosting the morale of the young generation, providing moral and financial support to entrepreneurs, promoting entrepreneurial education, and introducing new financial tools to support SMEs. BADER expects to achieve economic benefits on more than one front, such as reducing brain drain, lowering unemployment, promoting excellence, fostering entrepreneurial spirit, and boosting private sector dynamics.
