The Central Bank of Lebanon in collaboration with "L’Ecole Supérieure des Affaires" (ESA) organized a two-day workshop to promote entrepreneurship in Lebanon. This seminar which took place on January 21 and 22, at ESA, was led by Professor Jacqueline Fendt, Chaire Entrepreneuriat ESCP Europe, but also a business angel and past CEO of top tier European companies.

On Wednesday January 20th, Berytech represented by Chairman Maroun N. Chammas and Directors Nicolas Rouhana and Tania Saba-Mazraani participated in a series of round tables and closed sessions around entrepreneurship.

On January 4, 2010, in its first networking activity this year, Berytech hosted a lunch debate in honor of H.E. Mr. Fadi Abboud, Minister of Tourism, in the presence of Berytech community members and management.

 The Final Meeting related to the project entitled "Promotion of the Digital Arabic Content Industry Through Incubation" was held at the United Nations House in Beirut on December 15, 2009. The Information and Communication Technology Division of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia ESCWA, organized this meeting as part of the activities it implemented for promoting the Digital Arabic Content (DAC) in the ESCWA region since 2003.
Berytech, represented by Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, participated in this meeting, being involved in the implementation of the DAC project.
