Winners of The 3rd edition of the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC)

Image In collaboration with BLC Bank and in partnership with ESSEC, Université Saint-Joseph (USJ) and Berytech awarded the winners of the third edition of the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC), an initiative that was launched 3 years ago in the aim of supporting and encouraging social entrepreneurship in Lebanon and the region. The award ceremony was held on July 8, 2014 at the Campus of Humanitarian Sciences at USJ in the presence of Professor Salim Daccahe, USJ Chancellor, Mr. Maroun N. Chammas, CEO of Berytech, Mr. Maurice Sehnaoui, CGM of BLC Bank and Mrs. Maryse Jomaa, Director of the Lebanese School of Social Training at USJ.

Berytech Attends the Innovation Seminar in Lebanonís Industrial Sector

Image A workshop on "Innovation in the Knowledge Economy: Opportunities for Research & Cooperation in Lebanese Industry” was organized by the CNRS-L in Beirut, Lebanon on June 6, 2014 under the Patronage of H.E. the Minister of Industry.
The workshop, divided in two sessions; at presenting the following sessions:

Session 1: Presentation of the Innovation Report (based on a Survey Conducted in Lebanese Industrial Sector) - World Bank Project
Session 2: A panel discussion on “Innovation in Research, Education and Industry (Business Driven)”

Mr. Zadi Hobeika form Game theory exposes a new emerging market .

Where did the idea of game theory come from?
When asked why Game Theory, Mr. Zadi Hobeika stated “I was working for Google till last summer and I was handling advertising solution for the region. So, I was dealing with top companies and top agencies by helping them tackle and implement”. He added that given the high demand in the Middle Eastern market it’s a huge opportunity and the risk is worth it. In fact, there are agencies that are handling the big customers, agencies and freelancers handling the individuals or small companies but, there are few tackling the mid-market of digital agencies.
