ESCWA organized a conference entitled “Regional Follow-up to the Outcome of the World Summit on the Information Society " from the 16th to the 18th of June 2009. Berytech, represented by Dr. Nicolas Rouhana, participated in this conference, which took place at the Umayyad Congress Palace in Damascus.
Dr. Rouhana, was involved in the track of “Regional ICT strategies” and exposed the topic of “Promoting the ICT sector through incubation” displaying the case of Berytech. |

on May 21, 2009 in the presence of H.E. Mr. Mohammad Safadi, Minister of Economy & Trade, Mr. Patrick Laurent, Head of Delegation of the European Commission, Mr. Adel El Shared, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, and Mr. Maroun N. Chammas, Chairman & CEO of Berytech.

 Held on May 22 in the framework of the Entrepreneurs Forum, the Project Pitch competition featured an array of entrepreneurs looking to convince a panel of three judges in 5 minutes that their business idea is a winning proposition.
